Israel = Norway
I look at an old map of Northern Europe from 11 000 B.C. All of Sweden is under water, but Norway is elevated enough to be clearly distinguishable. The name of Norway is, however, "ISRAEL", with the S being a Lambda-sign. We start to speculate: Is Jerusalem in Norway? Is this somekind of Rudbeckian explanation of Scandinavias origin of different golden-age myths (Atlantis, Jerusalem, etc?).

11.000 BC, that's during the last glaciation, and there is an ongoing discussion as to whether there was a non-glaciated refugium at the Lofoten islands throughout that glaciation. I haven't checked this up, but one argument for the Lofoten refugium was the phylogeography of the common spruce, which usually is assumed to have invaded Scandinavia from northeast, but appears to have a northwestern point of radiation too. So the norwegian Jerusalem would then have been a spruce forest rather than a mediterranean cypress grove. If the Rudbeck reference is relevant, it is even more relevant to refer to the swedish hermetic 17th century classic "Den anatomerade graanen" by Anders Kempe, where he claims spruce to be the universal medicine...
